This Privacy Policy clearly and objectively explains how we process personal data in the context of our institutional website.

Scope.

This Policy applies to website visitors and to individuals who contact us through forms, email, telephone, WhatsApp, or other channels made available on this page.

What data we may process.

We may process the data you provide directly, such as name, company, email, phone number, message, and optional attachments submitted through the contact forms. We ask that you avoid sending sensitive personal data or unnecessary documents, unless this is strictly essential to handling your request.

Technical data.

We may also process technical data generated by browsing and using the website, such as IP address, access date and time, browser and device information, as well as technical logs related to the security, stability, performance, and delivery of the application.

How we collect data and what we use it for.

We collect data when you fill out a form, contact us through the available channels, or browse our website. We use this data to respond to requests, analyze requests for information and quotations, proceed with commercial or institutional service, receive and evaluate submitted attachments, maintain communication with you or with the company you represent, ensure the security and operation of the website, and comply with legal or regulatory obligations, when applicable.

Legal bases.

Processing may be based, as applicable, on preliminary procedures related to a contract, legitimate interest for service and security purposes, and compliance with legal or regulatory obligations. If any specific purpose depends on consent, it will be requested in a proper, separate manner compatible with that purpose.

Data sharing.

Your data may be shared, to the extent necessary, with service providers that support the operation of the website and the company’s communications, including hosting, infrastructure, protection, security, and content delivery services currently provided by Cloudflare, corporate email currently provided by Microsoft365, and transactional forwarding of messages sent through forms currently provided by Brevo, as well as with public authorities when there is a legal or regulatory obligation or a valid order from a competent authority.

When clicking phone, email, or WhatsApp buttons, you may be directed to third-party applications or services, which will process data according to their own terms and policies.

Storage and retention.

As a rule, information submitted through the website forms is not intended to create a database on the website itself; it is forwarded to the Aquanauta team to handle the request. Even so, messages, attachments, and operational metadata may remain stored for varying periods in corporate mailboxes and in the technical environments of providers involved in sending, receiving, securing, maintaining continuity, and auditing the services. The data will be kept for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes stated in this Policy, comply with legal or regulatory obligations, safeguard rights, and enable the security and traceability of communications, and will be deleted or reviewed when no longer necessary, subject to legally permitted retention cases.

International data transfer.

Due to the use of technology and infrastructure providers, personal data may be processed outside Brazil, including in other countries where the servers, operations, or subprocessors of the providers used by the company are located. In such cases, Aquanauta will seek to adopt the appropriate measures so that the transfer takes place in accordance with applicable law and with appropriate safeguards.

It also does not currently use third-party analytics or advertising tools aimed at monitoring user behavior. Only technical resources strictly necessary for operation, security, stability, content delivery, and protection against abuse may exist, including those derived from the technological infrastructure employed. For this reason, the website does not currently use a consent banner for tracking cookies. If the tools effectively used on the website are changed, this Policy will be updated and, where applicable, consent mechanisms will be reassessed.
